A Nice Light Meal That's Not Light on Flavor!
We have TWO recipes for you that go really well together -- Asian Turkey Lettuce Wraps and Wench Fried Rice.
Alyssa and Zach introduced us to the Asian Turkey Lettuce Wraps when they were visiting for the holidays. The original recipe is from My Recipes and uses cabbage. We made a few changes to suit our tastes.
The filling is really easy to make. We use ground turkey breast so it's quite lean.
I had to buy fish sauce because I don't keep it on hand (I actually never used it before!), but Alyssa told me it was important to the ultimate flavor.
She was right...
Fish sauce isn't "fishy" -- it's delicious in this recipe!
Alyssa asked me to make my fried rice to go along with the Turkey Wraps.
The combo worked so well!
We put a nice spoonful of the rice on the lettuce, then a spoonful of the turkey, followed by a drizzle of House of Tsang's Classic Stir-Fry Sauce.
I was pretty impressed with this recipe. It has become one of our regulars! A nice light meal with tons of flavor!
