We live near Naples, Italy — the birthplace of pizza. But even when you live in the middle of pizza heaven, sometimes you just want to stay home. I found this Pizza on the Grill recipe on All Recipes and adapted it just a bit. We were quite impressed with how easy it was. The preparation of the dough isn’t difficult, but does take some time. If you’ve got a food processor, kneading the dough is a breeze.
There are endless ways to top a pizza. One of my favorites is Gorgonzola and spinach. We are amused at the “Pizza Americana” on the menus here in Italy — pizza with French fries and hotdogs. Hmmmmm. What’s your favorite pizza topping combo???
