Inspire Me Mondays Link-Up #43 and Fresh Grilled Corn

    Welcome to Inspire Me Mondays.

Here we are in the 43rd week of this link-up.  Time flies!

I'd like to start this Inspire Me Mondays post off with a little bit of advice:

    Fresh Grilled Corn!

I'm not sure there are many things easier than grilling fresh corn.

I did this over the Fourth of July.  Threw the corn onto the grill -- husks and all.  They cooked for about 20 minutes -- I turned them every 5 minutes.

This worked really well -- they were cooked to perfection.

I cut the husks down towards the bottom to make them easier to remove (see the photo).

Before devouring, I spread a little butter and sprinkled some bacon.

But the seasoning options are endless!

Here are a few ideas to get you started -- salt, pepper, garlic, cajun seasoning, parmesan, lemon, butter, mayo (yes -- mayo), chili powder, cilantro lime butter, basil butter, soy sauce . . .

    Don't they look delicious???

Try it and let me know how it goes!

Last week's most viewed post was this beauty from About a Mom. . .

    And a couple of my favorites . . .

Salt River Sticks from Take Two Tapas.

I kept stumbling across this photo/recipe in the course of my daily blogger routine. Every time I saw these, I would stop for just a minute to imagine how delicious they must be.

When I finally saw them show up on the link-up, I knew we were destined to be together.

    I'm making these this week!

Texas Caviar Bean Dip from Home Grown Families

It just looks SO perfect for summer!

We're planning a dinner party soon and this dip will definitely be on the menu!
