    Apple Pie Moonshine

    This Apple Pie Moonshine goes down easily. Serve in old fashioned filled with crushed ice!

    Ingredients

    • 2 Gallons apple cider (can use 1.5 gal. cider + .5 gal. apple juice)
    • 1 Cup granulated sugar
    • 1 Cup dark brown sugar
    • 8 cinnamon sticks
    • 1 Tablespoon ground cloves
    • 1 Bottle (750 ml.) Everclear
    • 1 Bottle (750 ml.) Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum

    Note

    This Apple Pie Moonshine is delicious served over crushed ice.  Enjoy!

    Directions

    Step 1
    Heat cider to just below boiling.

    Step 2
    Add both sugars and cinnamon sticks. Allow mixture to come to a boil then reduce heat to medium and cook for one hour, stirring occasionally.
    Step 3
    -Remove from heat and add ground cloves
    Step 4
    Allow mixture to cool to room temperature. Add Everclear and rum. Stir thoroughly.
    Step 5
    Pour, mixture (along with cinnamon sticks) into bottles. You can place additional cinnamon sticks in bottles if desired.
