This basil, cucumber, lime, vodka cocktail is so refreshing and simple to make. Careful! It goes down fast!
Ingredients
- 4 Fresh basil leaves
- 5 Slices of cucumber (¼ inch thick)
- 4 Ounces Simple syrup (Make simple syrup by combining equal portions water and sugar. Heat until sugar dissolves. Store in fridge.)
- 1 Large Juicy lemon
- 1 Large Juicy lime
- 4 Ounces Vodka
Note
There's no need to buy any fancy bar equipment for this cocktail. To "muddle" I used my Pampered Chef tool called the "mix and chop" and that worked perfectly. You could use a potato masher. I also don't own a shaker (yet) so I use a plastic jar with a lid. When I strain the cocktail, I strain through a sieve. Nothing fancy!
