    Easy Tzatziki Dip

    Tzatziki dip is a light appetizer with vibrant flavors. Enjoy with crispy pita chips!

    Ingredients

    • 2 Medium cucumbers (peeled, seeds removed, shredded)
    • 2 Cups plain Greek yogurt
    • 1-2 Tablespoons finely chopped red onion
    • 1 Tablespoon white or red wine vinegar
    • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
    • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
    • ½ Teaspoon kosher salt
    • ½ Teaspoon crushed red pepper
    • pepper, to taste

    Note

    Tzatziki dip seems to find its way onto my party appetizer list pretty often.  Of course, it's easy to make.  The yogurt and cucumbers give it a light and refreshing flavor while the onions and crushed red pepper add the vibrant kick that will bring your guests back to the dip time and time again!

    Directions

    Step 1
    Remove liquid from shredded cucumber by first squeezing to release liquid. Follow this with wrapping shredded cucumber in paper towels to absorb additional moisture.

    Place all ingredients into a medium bowl and stir to combine.

    Cover and place in refrigerator. Allow flavors to develop for about 20-30 minutes.
