- 2 Whole eggs
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 Teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 Cups flour
- 4 Teaspoons baking powder
- 1 Tablespoon dried lavender (using fingers to crush before adding)
- ¾ Teaspoon salt
- 1-¼ Cup buttermilk (regular milk can be substituted)
- 6 Ounces white chocolate
Lavender Simple Syrup
- ⅓ Cup sugar
- ⅓ Cup water
- 2 Tablespoons dried lavender
Buttercream Frosting
- ½ Cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2-3 Cups powdered sugar
- 2 Tablespoons lavender simple syrup
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
